Stars in the city of the Black Swan is a photo book born from the idea of sharing my vision of society in a visual way. Each element that makes up this book has been selected with the purpose of showing the cultural richness that exists in our society, regardless of the possible differences that exist between each of the individuals who comprise it.

The book is a reflection of my vision of society and what it represents beyond what we perceive in our daily lives. More than individuals who share a space or territory that makes up society, we are beings experiencing different, yet very parallel, realities.

By developing this book in Perth, Australia, I have had the opportunity to show in images the cultural diversity that can comprise a social group, and how this characteristic is not an impediment to its members living together in peace, tolerance, and harmony. It is also an insight into the concept of duality that define our experience as human beings.
